Highly, highly recommend for people who have a lot of deadlines to keep track of! I’m a college student and I use this app to like a personal PA to keep track of when my major projects and papers are due. It’s neat-looking, easy to use & create new events, and color-codeable with transparency. Definitely worth it!

At first I had trouble getting the time to sync properly but I emailed the seller and got a prompt response to enable the “Time Element” and now it works perfectly! I love the customization options too, I would definitely reccomend this app!

As a secretary, I have to say this app is very useful. Hope next version will be better.

It is very useful for the people who are always forget the deadline of the work like me. It is pretty and resonable designed.

It’s a really good app. the only thing I think it needs is having multiple time units running at the same time (such as 3 months, 2 weeks, 5 days, etc.) or being able to choose how many options we wanted to see. Other than that, I love it and can you make an app for iphone and ipad that sync together?

The app works well and is simple. I orginally marked this app down for time zone issues. It turns out, I was the problem. The app allows the user to select the time of day he/she wants a countdown sync’d to (simply click on the time elements button). This app is 5 stars.

I found it to be very good. But, I found that it needs changes to allow for a smaller display. If you have several countdowns set, it chews up a lot of screen real estate and begins to interfere with other open windows. A smaller window with sizable fonts would help. It would also be nice to have a single window with a columnar display of dates and times, at least when there are more than 3 or 4 countdowns.

I quite like the Countdown Widget for the Mac. Im able to use my own jpg images to create count down reminders for myself. While the date and time left cannot be custom positioned on the reminder you create, the text color can be adjusted to your preference. Each countdown reminder you create also has a note space which is viewable in the preferences pane. Since reminders are so useful to me…..Id like to see a version for the I-pad !

this app is awesome it great reminds me of all B-day and important dates.

I give five stars to this app, because it very easy to tracking days without enter the app. It directly shows on your desktop. Great app!

I have this installed on two different iMac’s. Both have multiple monitors plugged into the Thunderbolt display ports. I can open it initially and create a countdown widgit. But upon reboot, they all disappear. I can see them if I go into preferences but they aren’t showing up anymore on the desktop! I emailed them via their “Support” page but haven’t heard a thing.

Followng Kevin Kelly’s lead, I calculated the likely time I have left to live. I created a clear background, gray letters, and let it hover over all windows in the far lower left of my screen all the time. Every day I can see the days tick by. Works fine for me on Yosemite.

I don’t know where to begin…I had so much trouble just getting this application to run under the latest Mavericks OS X update. After a half-dozen uninstall/reinstall goat rodeos, I got it to run. So I set up a couple of countdown widgets - stock out of th box, nothing fancy. I had one set to 12/8/2014 (Dec. 8th, 2014), and today (Dec. 7, 2014 where I am physically located) it was at 0 days left (date has passed). No. It. Has. Not. Passed. Such a simple operation - date math - is worng here. This may be the worst application I have run in a very long time - and I survived Windows 3.0 decades ago.

I like the app and have been using it for sometime. Tracked days, until my vacation, then days until I got married, now weeks until our first baby is here. It’s useful and works nicely.

This app starts off good but after a few days of using it you find the font in the tiles starts to progressively shrink to the point where you can’t even see what you typed. This is indicative of a developer who clearly does not know what he/she is doing. After several attempts to contact developer for this .99 app I finally get a reply telling me to start all over again to resize the tiles. Hmmm… Tried that and guess what. I still have the problem of fonts that are too small to read for anyone. This developer does not care about this app and neither should you.

I have needed this app for SO long. I NEED to see the dates ON my desktop, 24/7, to keep myself time-oriented. Thankls for this. The Countdown widget for the Notifications bar- I bought it- it’s by a different developer- the problem is, hte Notification Bar is not always on the desktop- it closes and so is useless. I love that yours STAY on the desktop. I would love in the new countdown didn’t open behind other open apps. Can you add monthly repeat countdowns- like for RENT. Light bill? Cable bill? Another feature… Can we have categories that stack dated countdowns? I have 4 dentist appointments coming up and I’ve love to have them in a stack where the top one disappears whenit’s done, to reveal the others in the same category. I wish that when counting down by actual times, it dispalyed hours and minutes, and not seconds. Finally, I wish that the noitifications were more agressive. Regardless, I really like APP.

I teired re-sizeing them, and again every restart it goes back to a tile with a number and no visable text. I emailed the developer, i will update if there is any change. If this bug can’t be fixed than this app is really not usuable.

I have had this widget for maybe a year! I have events that are 300 days passed because I CANT open the widget to change them or take them down! I have tried to contact someone for help but there is no easy way to get ahold of someone! I’m extremely irritated and would not recommend this. unless this bug is an easy fix I may change my view but as of now I completely hate it.
